I am a specialised medical translator with over 25 years of experience in the translation industry, focusing exclusively on healthcare, clinical research, and life sciences. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and have evolved with the profession, from paper-based processes to today’s CAT tools and cloud-based platforms, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to accuracy, clarity, and responsibility in medical communication.

After 15 years working in-house at a leading Portuguese translation company, I gained deep insight into professional workflows, quality assurance, and the challenges of highly regulated content. Since 2016, I’ve worked independently with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, medical device manufacturers, and medical communications agencies, delivering millions of words across clinical, regulatory, and patient-facing documents.
